In a fantastic location in El Chorro (Alora, Malaga), near El Caminito del Rey (2km) and in the beautiful nature of this area, we offer this lovely country house. For years this has been a successful B&B, managed by Dutch owners.
From the tourist village of El Chorro, via a paved and well-maintained road, we arrive at the entrance to this property.
There is parking space in front of the building for several cars. Entering through the gate, we enter a beautiful plot with several authentic buildings, swimming pool, terraces, fruit trees and beautiful views. The property is situated on 16,000 m2 of private land that slopes at an angle.
The main building is used by the owners as private accommodation. This property consists of an authentic kitchen with separate area for the washing machine (originally this a bathroom with shower and toilet, both still present ). Adjacent is the dining room and living room with high ceilings, authentic thick wooden beams and a phenomenal view from the sitting area. From the living room there is access to the private terrace with outdoor kitchen.
Next to the living room is a very spacious bedroom with high ceilings, built-in wardrobes and a large bathroom. Adjacent to the private home is the reception and breakfast area for Bed and Breakfast guests. From the home's private kitchen, breakfast is offered here. There would also be a nice and simple possibility of creating a guest toilet here. This centrally located area has a pizza oven, coffee and tea facilities, honesty bar, information supply of the area and a lovely comfortable terrace under the large tree that provides wonderful shade. A central spot for B&B guests!
Located on the side of the main building is room "El Frente". This room has its
own entrance and is a nice double guest room with private bathroom.
This room is characterised by the nice details in tile and woodwork. There is air conditioning for hot and cold air, nice built-in wardrobes. This room has a private terrace under the trees in the garden.
In a separate building, formerly used as a garage or warehouse, two beautiful and very spacious guest rooms have been created. Both have a separate entrance, lots of privacy and their own ter-race.
In the lower part of this building, accessible by an elegant staircase leading to the private terrace is "room Abajo" (2 persons). This is a very spacious room with beautiful tiled floor, private luxury bathroom, air conditioning (hot and cold), a pellet stove for the winter months and various old at-tractive elements. This room can also easily be fitted with a kitchenette, making it also available as a studio flat.
Taking the stairs up again, we walk around the building and arrive at "Room Arriba" (2 persons). This room has a lovely covered terrace, lots of light, beautiful tiles, lots of space, air conditioning (hot and cold), pellet stove and a beautiful bathroom. This room can be fitted with a kitchenette if desi-red, making it rentable as a studio flat.
As the region around El Chorro is popular for various types of tourism all year round (hiking, cycling, mountain climbing, El Caminito del Rey, Lakes of Ardales), the choice was made to equip the rooms with Pellet stoves. A nice solution to provide guests with comfort in the winter months with its chil-ly nights.
Walking back from these two lovely guest rooms, we have a view of the pool and the place where the yurt is situated.
The pool is 8 x 5 metres and has a nice central location. There is a pleasant terrace to enjoy the pleasant Andalusian climate. The outdoor shower is incorporated into the part of the wall that pro-vides plenty of privacy.
On the other side is a platform dedicated to the construction of the Mongolian yurt (April to Octo-ber). This platform is equipped with electricity for the inside of this special accommodation. Next to the yurt, the former dog kennel has been converted into a cosy bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. Next to this is a beautiful covered terrace to enjoy the views around you.
For several years, this B&B has been an atmospheric and comfortable accommodation for guests from all over the world. The current owners have a good website, pleasant reviews, partnerships with several travel organisations in the field of hiking holidays. Of course, this is all for acquisition, as well as the necessary inventory and furniture of the guest rooms, common areas and outdoor fur-niture. Within the purchase price of the property an amount of €20,000 is included for this, an in-ventory list is available.
