Casarabonela is a very beautiful, typical Andalusian white village with many old Arabic and Roman features from its past that it has kept and enchants any visitor. It is stuck to the mountain, like Mijas, for example, and even has views towards the sea of Malaga at the end of its valley, where you can also see the lights of Malaga at night. In addition, the village and its surroundings belong to the "Reserva de la Biosfera Sierra de las Nieves", a Biosphere Reserve declared by the UNESCO, due to its special nature (e.g., eagles, wild mountain goats, etc.), flora and fauna. It is situated in the centre of Málaga Province: 40 min. drive to Málaga, 60 min. to Marbella, 50 min. to Ronda and 50 min. to Antequera and only 30 min. drive to the Ardales/El Chorro Lakes, therefore offering many destinations nearby for tourists to explore, which is of great advantage when you want to offer guided tours and activities for future hotel guests during their holidays in Andalucia.

The finca plot itself is extremely well located, as it is only 10 minutes´ walk (1 km) to the village, offering the opportunity that guests would not even have to take a car to be able to enjoy the village and its bars and restaurants. The plot has sun all day, as it is open to the East, South and West, with the North in its back, sheltering it this way from any North wind that could sometimes appear in the winter. All sorts of fruit trees grow perfectly in this area, as it does not freeze. The access to this finca is over tarmacked roads and only a very short part of it has been carried out in concrete, so no dirt tracks have to be used. The location of the plot can be seen very easily from all over the valley, making the access for visitors and guests even easier.

The land has an own electricity post already established and town water runs directly in front of the entrance of the plot and could be connected.

The total finca consists of two plots. The first plot has a completely flat area of approximately 5.000 m2 that has already been levelled in 2002 and is therefore extremely solid. The intention was to build the main part of the hostel on this flat area, on one level, having wheel chair access this way to all rooms and the main garden. In the middle upper part of the first plot you have several areas that are quite even and when going a bit further up, near to the oak and pine trees, a culturally protected "era" is located, where the corn was dried by the sun in past times. It still exists and forms an unbeatable viewpoint, where it was planned to use a mobile glass pavilion to enjoy the extraordinary 360 degrees views, give classes of all sorts, use it for meditation, etc. Beneath the protected Spanish oak trees stones have been used to create an area where to sit below them, enjoying the overwhelming views towards the village and the wide valley in front of you, as far as to Coin and the back of the mountains of Marbella, or Alhaurin El Grande and the mountains behind it towards Mijas and Fuengirola.

The second plot of the finca, directly next to the first plot, offers many naturally flat areas already at the bottom, but also in the middle and upper area, with beautiful views to the village and its mountain chain "Sierra Prieta" right from the bottom of this finca to its very top. On this land a specific place has already been signposted and registered with the Andalusian Hydraulic Department (Agencia Andaluza de Aguas), in order to be able to dig a well there for watering the garden, for example. Casarabonela is very rich of water, as there is a huge water reserve below its mountain and there are actually several water factories in the village. Many water fountains of the village run all day long offering you a sip of this fresh and natural water.
The land has many olive trees in production, pine trees, protected Spanish oak trees, several fig trees, a pomegranate apple tree and several almond trees.
